Due to the extreme heat forecast for this coming Sunday, the organizers have decided to adjust the schedule for the Czesław Cybulski Memorial. Out of concern for the health, safety, and comfort of fans and athletes, the competition at Golęcin Stadium is now scheduled to begin on Sunday, June 28, at 6:00 p.m.
The forecasted extreme heat could make it difficult to compete and cheer in direct sunlight. The evening time slot will provide much better conditions for the athletes and a more pleasant atmosphere in the stands.
The organizers remind everyone that additional measures will be implemented at the POSiR Golęcin stadium to help combat the heat. A special Aquanet water truck will be stationed near the stands, providing free drinking water—spectators are asked to bring their own water bottles or reusable containers. Additionally, water misting systems will be available, and food and beverage stands offering cold drinks and ice cream will be located near the stands. All spectators are asked to bring hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
An updated, detailed minute-by-minute schedule of the competition will be published soon on the Memorial’s official website.
See you on Sunday, June 28, at 6:00 p.m. at the POSiR Golęcin stadium!
