Sports emotions at the POSiR Golęcin stadium are behind us. The competition was dominated by Polish athletes, who surrendered first places to foreign guests in only four competitions. The most valuable result of the competition is the stadium record of Michal Haratyk in the shot put (21.55). Close to beating last year's result of Pawel Wojciechowski in the pole vault was Piotr Lisek, who won by jumping 5.72 m.
In the duel of "Matusinski's Angels" in the 400m, Malgorzata Holub Kowalik was better, with a time of 52.34, just 0.09 seconds ahead of Patrycja Wyciszkiewicz-Zawadzka. In addition to the Poles, only Brits reached for the top laurels: Kristal Awuah in the women's 100m run, Jessica Turner in the 400m hurdles, Alexandra Bell in the 800m run and the winner of the 1500m run Piers Copeland.
The next great athletic excitement in Poznan is next year during the 97th PZLA Polish Championships.
